How to speed safely - The Spotify approach

David Kari

Head of Solution Engineering, Australia and New Zealand at VMware Application Platform Architecture Lead, Asia Pacific Japan at VMware

David Kari joined VMware in February 2020 as Head of Solution Engineering for Australia and New Zealand (A/NZ). David oversees the development of software platforms and data driven applications to empower VMware’s customers in delivering business outcomes.

An experienced technologist with over 20 years of industry experience, David is passionate about technological innovation and organisational change. He is well-versed in how organisations can transform how they build, deploy, and manage software in highly secure and available environments.

Prior to joining VMware, David spent 20 years working in various roles at Pivotal (now part of VMware) and Simbient. Most recently, he served as Head of Platform Architecture for Pivotal. Prior to this, David was the General Manager for Simbient where he was responsible for building products and software solutions for organisations across key industry sectors.

David holds a degree in Economics and a Master's in Business Administration (Technology).
